The challenge

Hazel Health delivers physical and mental health care to students inside K-12 schools. So a single website has to win over three very different audiences at the same time: district administrators evaluating a partner, parents deciding whether to enroll their child, and licensed providers weighing a role, without overwhelming or losing any of them. And because it touches student health, every page has to earn trust on privacy and access first.

Who it's for

Three audiences at once: district and school leaders vetting a care partner, parents and guardians enrolling their students, and clinicians considering a role, each arriving with different questions and stakes.

Brand personality

Warm, credible, and plainly stated. Reassuring for families, rigorous for districts, mission-driven throughout.

Our approach

How we solved it

1

Audience-first navigation: dedicated Schools, Families, and Providers paths, so each visitor lands on a page written for them instead of a one-size-fits-all pitch.

2

A calm teal-and-coral system with generous white space that reads as clinical-grade trust without feeling cold or corporate.

3

Plain-language content and real student and family stories that make an unfamiliar idea, care at school, feel safe and simple.

4

Mobile-first, since most families arrive on a phone, and accessible by default for a service meant to reach every student.

What shipped

  • Audience landing pages: Schools, Families, and Providers
  • Customer stories and outcomes
  • FAQ and Careers
  • Contact and enrollment flow, including the confirmation screen
  • Full mobile experience
Built-in proof point

Student health data is sensitive under FERPA and HIPAA, so the enrollment and contact flows were designed privacy-first: they ask only for what is needed and make consent and next steps unmistakable. And because the service reaches every student, the site was built to WCAG 2.1 AA from the start.

Accessibility and privacy are part of the design, not a caption on it.
